HI,
I created the database through database configuration assistant. But it is not appearing in OEM.
I deleted one existing database. But, still it is appearing in OEM. when I try to connect it says tns error.
I think OEM is not getting refreshed. Could anybody help me why it is not refreshing. it's very urgent.
thankx

Ok, when you say it is not appearing in OEM, dont shoot me if you have alredy done this but first off..
Have you attempted to make OEM 'Discover' the database via 'Discover nodes' off the menu? If this fails to find the database then the next thing is to check if the agent is running on that server.
If the agent is running on the node adn you cant see the database then I would guess its a TNSnames problem. Is the database in your tnsnames.ora in the oracle home OEM is installed to?
Check these things and then get back to me.

Hi Mustak,
Make sure your agent is running by using the following command where the database is located
lsnrctl dbsnmp_status
If it is not started you can use the following command to start it
lsnrctl dbsnmp_start
Once the agent is started on the server you have to discover the nodes using discover node from OEM
