    What is the minimum network bandwidth required for an Oracle Client to connect Oracle Database...?

    Very urgent...

    It depends on the traffic volume. If its a company, normally you would get 100 mbps Full/Half duplex. You can even connect through the modem, min 36kbps. But you would see the drag on this case. Also there are parameters that you could set on your tnsnames.ora and listener.ora to handle the traffic volume. If you can afford, you can even do 1Gbps Ethernet too

    As stated before 100m/s is very sufficient , I ran Oracle Apps on 10M/s and it worked good but on 100m/s it is flying , soon I will upgrade to fiber optics for some of the clients on the network , I am aspiring to experience the speed , I will inform you then but for the moment 100M/s based on 3COM complete management NICs plus CISCO or 3COM switches is more than excellent for any environment
