listener on on machine but points to another

Any one knows how to trick a listener to listen on one machine and point to another machine

CAn I use connection manager for this purpose?
Does cannection manager come with STANDARD edition?

I have a listener on machine A
My database is on machine B

I want to connect to machine A

What are you trying to do? Connection manager is a connection relay type device, it might be what you want.
