I have a column in table with number(6,1). The data comes as .149999999. The oracle puts it as .1 while informix makes it .2.

How can I make it .2 in Oracle too. I do not want to use functions as I use direct path load.

This is normal rounding behaviour. I think informix does it wrong.

The only suggestion that I can come up with is to increase the precision on your table, and make a script to run after your dataload to round the way you like it.
