temp table space

Hi,

For past few days I ve been altering my temp space to pctincrease 1 everyday morning.

but today I saw that it contains the sys objects!!!!!

Is it ok If i continue with what ive been doing...
Or is the data in the temp space imp?

Hi,
Basically TEMP tablespace is used for doing users temporary tasks such as sorting,creating index,grouping .
For any user dont keep ur default tablespace as TEMP.
Keep temporary tablespace as TEMP for all the users and default tablespace as a tablespace apart from SYSTEM.
Keep SYSTEM tablespace as default tablespace for user SYS and SYSTEM.
