What is exactly the meaning of the following parameters :

db_name = TOP01
db_domain = TOPHAD01.COMPANY.COM
instance_name = TOP01
service_names = TOP01.TOPHAD01.COMPANY.COM


Are there all mandatory ? Do they have impact on NET8 Config ?



Also what about these two :


remote_login_passwordfile = exclusive
os_authent_prefix = ""

Do they do anything for admin connection remotely ( from sql plus ) ???
