    Hello,

I Have succesfully installed designer 6.
Now, I have created a module with a module component.
When i'll generate the module, the initialisation phase hangs.

Does anybody know what the problem can be, or where i must search.

    Thanks,

    Sebastiaan

I'm with you on this, I have installed designer and got it to connect and if I try to create a new application system using the process modeler I get an error that say " REM-00011: Operation 'open' on activity has Failed" select more and I get another message that say " REM-00011: operation 'INS' on ci_application_system has failed" select cause " An API operation reguest has failed"
How did you get it to create your module? Or am I talking about a different issue?

    Thanks,

    Designer6 installation

    Hello Sebastiaan,

Here is my experience with the installation of designer6 and I don't know if this going to help you but I did got it to work finally.

    Major points to look at:

1- User privileges, I ended up given myself Sys privileges?
2- Update the init.ora using Sql*net/Net8 easy config.
3-Increase the Large_pool_size, there is a bug and it is doc. in the oracle metalink web page.
4- if you can run RAU (Repository admin utility) check for missing or invalid objects using the view objects within the RAU, if you have an Invalid objects you'll need to recompile.
5- Use the METALINK there is allot of reference that might help you with your issues.

    MN,
