I am looking for the best book, video, or CBT to teach someone who knows SQL inside-out, and is ready to progress into PL. I want a book (resource) which deals almost exclusively with PL, not 8 chapters of SQL then 2 of PL. I would like something that doesn't just teach syntax, but has lessons such as writing a simple PL which uses a loop, and then 'walks' the reader/user through writing this statement. I have studied extensively for the PL/SQL OCP exam but still find myself lacking when it comes to WRITING PL. I don't see much benefit with taking the exam until I feel confident writing PL packages to use in everyday administration. Any suggestions?
