    How is it that you can go to Oracle.com and download Oracle8i for free? Do you need to put in a registration number once you download it or something?

    just login to http://www.technet.oracle.com, register, then you can download any oracle product, for your own use.

    Hi

    Just register at oracle technology network oracle is free for development you have to purchase if you are going to host a database in production
