Creating Fresh OLTP DB!

Hi!

We are going to create a new database.

Queries:

1.DB OLTP.
2.How to manage backend triggers.
3.Other necessary inputs,suggestions like PMON,SMON,
DBWR,CKPT,Multiplexing of Control Files,On-line Redo Log Files.
3.No datas exists as of now on the tables.
4.We have to run scripts for tables,constraints creation.

Hello

Use the Dbassist utilty supplied by oracle to create the databse and specify that you want an OLTP database oracle autonatically creates the oltp database for you.monitor these
for a period of time when you populate it with data for growth then you can go ahead and alter it with the same tool.


For craetion of table scripts etc if you have the ERD with you you can automatically generate triggers,table creation scripts with tools like erwin,etc
