    Hi All,

    DBA Studio does not start.
When I look at the oms.nohup file it says a lot of things and finally it says
    Class not found: oracle.sysman.vxa.VxaAppserver

I am not sure what this means.
We are using Windows 2000 server and Oracle 8.1.7, OEM 2.2

    Any help is appreciated
    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Radha.

My experience has been to un-install the dba studio and re-install it. Make sure your tnsnames.ora file exists too. offcourse the tnsnames.ora file wouldnt prevent the dba studio from starting but it does look for it.

    irehman,

The services specified by you starts without any errors.
Where do I install JDK from?

DBA Studio and EMCA all was working fine without any problems...all of a sudden it does not open at all and it does not give any errors also.
But, when I look at the oms.nohup file it says a lot of things and finally it says
    Class not found: oracle.sysman.vxa.VxaAppserver

    jlakhani,

I tried reinstalling DBA Studio.. but the problem still persists.

    Thank you.

    Radha.
