I installed Oracle 8.1.7 enterprize server with Advanced Replication on an NT workstation and also installed the Oracle Enterprize Manager from the same CD.
As per the doc the Replication Manager utility should be under --
Tools > Extended Database Applications > Oracle Replication Manager
But on my workstation I can't find it. Only things I have under
Tools > Extended Database Applications >
are --
- Oracle Intermedia
- Oracle Spatial
The document also says that --
*******
On Windows platforms, use the Start menu to choose:
Programs > Oracle - OEM_LABEL > Extended Database Administration > Replication Manager
where OEM_LABEL is the label specified for Oracle Enterprise Manager during installation.
*******
I didn't see OEM_LABEL during installation and that is why wondering if I need to install OEM from some other media (other than the Oracle Enterprize 8.1.7 CD)
Thank,

Thanks dragon99,
Yes, I did notice DBA studio and the Replication Manager underneath but I was wondering why it was not detected from the Console itself. I have spent quite some time with the OEM that came with 8.1.5 and don't remember DBA Studio there; was it there or I missed it ?

I am not sure, probably they start putting replication manager under dba studio regardless you start OEM or start DBAStudio since version 2.2.0.0.0.
Now with version 2.2.0.0.0, you either start OEM, then under TOOLS, you click DBA Studio, when DBAStudio starts, you will see replication manager,
or you start DBAStudio from your WINDOWNS START menu without starting OEM.
Now oracle client 8.1.7 comes with DBA Studio as default.
