How to query the LDAP server from plsql procedure/package

Hi Folks,

I'm curious to know whether there are any way(s) to query the LDAP server for information from a plsql module? I know that I could use the OID, but what I'm looking for is a query from a user_schema.

Any information on sample codes/white papers/links would greatly be appreciated.

BTW, Oracle version is 8.1.6.3 on Solaris 2.8
