    Hello Gurus,

I tried to run explain plan on my database and was getting error =ORA-18008 (CANNOT FIND OUTLN SCHEMA)
CAUSE: The database creation script that creates this schema was not run.

Can anyone tell me which script I need to run please?.

The OUTLN schema is created by the "sql.bsq" script at DB creation.

Take a look at the script located in OH/rdbms/admin. GOD willing, you may be able to create the OUTLN schema by running the relevant portion

    Hi Amar,

I ran the script again and IT WORKED!. Is there any implication for running the script again?

Frankly speaking I don't know! That script is run at DB creation time and you may be one of the privileged few (or maybe the only one?) to have run this script on a live DB (or maybe I am wrong and people do run this script on a live DB ).

Have you noticed any strange behavior in the DB now?

Anybody else out there who has any comments please?

I noticed that every user including OUTLN is created twice when you log into the OEM security manager. I tried to log in as internal with the default password but got the error invalid username/password. Could this be the consequences of this script or something else. Anybody out there must have experienced this before.

    AC,

Are you saying that there are two users with the same name in the DB now ??

That's right!. All the users are duplicated when you go into OEM (security manager). When I go in with SQL navigator or when I query the DBA_USERS, the duplicate wouldn't occur.

So I would presume that it is the OEM that is causing the virtual duplication. What is your OEM version and what is the OS that you are using to run it?
