Hi,

Here I need to Install Oracle8i on windows 2000. we are going to do for VPN network ( not for LAN).

I need to install Oracle 8i more than 15 branches. So I need to do replication for all 15 branches.

All 15 branch datas should be updated in one branch.

If anybody know about this mail me, How I want to proceed replication.

As per your requirement u may have the choice of whether to go for a multimaster or Updateable sanpshot. Recently i implemented a multimaster and updateable snapshot in my work place it is working fine,i choose snapshot because of network traffic and also it is very simple to configure.But where as in multimaster it is little tough task and also after configuring it is to be taken care of since there will be lot of load on network.So consider the above aspect choose the best one which will suite to your work environment and also go through all the replication doubts which are posted,it will give some idea how to proceed.
