Thread: Oracle 8i personal in Windows 2000 Professional

    Hi everybody,

    I am trying to install Oracle 8i Personal in my computer which is having Win 2000 professional as its operating system.

    As the installer passes one window after another, I am getting a strange message with an Alarm Icon saying 'Invalid staging: There are no top level components for Win NT to install from this staging area' and I am not able to proceed further.

    Any clues??

    Can you let us know what is the version of Personal oracle 8i you are using
