Thread: ora-00020 unkown processes killing oracle

    I have NT 40 sp6a Compaq server running Oracle 7.3.4 that keeps dying from hitting the process limit (50). Every approx. 3-4 minutes SYSTEM starts a new Oracle73.exe. I have disabled all of the Compaq mgmt agents because of a known problem with those. NT has a Network DDE service that hangs on start up but don't know if that could affect this.

    Did you try increasing the process limit to >50
