    What is DBSNMP.I have four databases .In one this user is running and the rest it is not.What is the use of the DBSNMP.
    Information about DBSNMP is welcome...

    DBSNMP is a oracle intelligent agent process. This is a component of OEM. If you are using OEM to administor database, schedule jobs remotely using OEM then this process is necessary. This process receives and executes jobs send through OEM console.

    You can stop intelligent agent using listener control utility

    $ lsnrctl dbsnmp_stop
