    Q & A

    Hi, 15th July 2001 15:49 hrs chennai

Wll wish you all th ebest for the exams.

Since this is not the forum Reg Certifications i am moving this to Certifications forums.

By this time you would have recived my bunch of Q&A.

My Best Advice would be to Put your Practical work on Oracle Expert and SQL statement Tuning which is very crucial where many blink at Exam centre.

    Cheers

Hi, for this exam I recall there is only 1 question on Oracle Expert...so don't put too much effort on this.

Don't confuse between the different views for the different types of tuning. This is where the answers for the question gets you... with very similar view names.

    Good Luck!

    Hi
I have written the exam on lost saturday and passed 55 out of 57.

Don't put too much effort on Oracle expert. There was only one question.

Concentrate on Buffer cache,Library cache, dictionary cache,Redo log buffer tuning. Because these topics cover almost 40% of the exam.

    Questions I remeber

    1. Which one specify the daily usage of database to Oracle Expert
    Ans : Workload class

    2. Which parameters determine the no of shared server process in MTS ??

    ans . PROCESSS
    MTS_MAX_SERVERS
    3.V$ROWCAHE is used for _____ ?
    Tuning Data Dictionary

    GOOD LUCK !
