    Question

    Hi,

    Would anyone know how I can certain data from a database table wherer the colun I want to export is of LONG data type????

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Exporting LONG datatype

    The Oracle EXP utility should export a table with a LONG column (1 per table) without any special parameters. Can you specify what difficulty you're having?

    sorry i should have made myself clearer. I want to export only the data from one certain column so that i can pump the data into another database by generating a set of insert statements.
