Oracle University book for 8 to 8i upgrade exam book

Hi everyone,
I browsed http://www.oracle.com website to check to see if thre is an Oracle University book for 8 to 8i upgrade exam so I can buy it. Does anyone know? If there is a book outthere,
do you have to attend the class in order to get the book? Or I can order from
the website?

Hey Trina; As far as I know you can only get those books by attending one of their classes. I don't know why this is, I prefer not to spend 2K for a book. Unfortunatley 98% of the OCP material comes out of those books. I will need to take the upgrade exam soon and I have a friend that will loan me his. Good luck in you search, there are not too many books out on that topic.

Thanks for your information. I cannot afford another 2K on this class because
I spent my own money on all 5 classes in oracle 8 version. I bought exam cram book
but I'm not sure if it is enough.
Can anyone know what other websites available for this 8i upgrade exam??

This is a great website. I would download the cramsession found here http://cramsession.brainbuzz.com/cra...rade/guide.asp

Just keep in mind that it is 68 pages long if you decide to print it. Be carefull with this exam, I've heard that it the hardest one out there, and there is a lot of info to cover. Also check out http://www.oraclenotes.com/exam6i.htm
That will give you a good idea on what to concentrate on.
