Hi,
Sorry for posting this on database administration site.
I have found a heavy sql in production which uses a union all of 4 sqls. Actually, it's a report on the report server and it is in a procedure in a package. It has generated a lot( a lot!!) of buffer_gets. I have to tune this query to reduce the buffer_gets. How do I proceed? The buffer_gets should not be more than 2000(as suggested by our Team Lead). But, til 5000 should be okay. Is thereany hint that I can use ?
Please help me!! I would appreciate it.
Thanks.
