    Hi

Whatever knowledge you aquire in sql and pl/sql is what you will be using extensively in Developer 2000.

There are some tutorial available when you install devloper software on ur system you can go thru those and you can allways put question in oracle development forum. Here are some of the books which you might be intrested for oracle developer and designer 2000

Oracle developer 2000 Handbook by Michael W Stowe

Oracle designer handbook by Peter Koeletzke and Paul dorsey

You will also find lots of documentation once you install the software

    Hope this helped

You might have to wait until oracle releases a version for 2000. I would think that if you install the one for the NT you would have some compatibility issues poping out.
