OEM pains

Hi gurus,
I have been trying to configure my OEM repository.
It assumes the name of my TCP/IP name (of my PC) and then asks me to enter apassword and then gives me Invalid messages saying that
select coun(*) from sys.dba_users where username = 'Myname' returns zero.
Do I have to create auser by this name first?
Is there any place where I can learn how to use this &&&**(*&* OEM?

Do you have the tnsnames.ora file configured properly. In order to create the repository you have to give a user name with the DBA privileges. I would suggest that you use the sys and the service name should be as exactly on the tnsnames.ora file.
