    Thanks Sambavan,

I dont know C/C++. Is it required to know these to write code in Pro C.

Also do I need to have C Compilers/editors to write pro.C.

If its possible to write it in Pro C then it must be possible to write it using java stored procedures or any other way maybe dbms_pipes, I am not sure.

    Please Confirm.

    Thanks
    Anurag

    Please suggest.

Also If somebody can tell me where exactly pro C fits . I mean is it to be used only if you have an Application written in C or it can be used anywhere.

    Is it worth learning.

    Thanks
    Anurag

By batch file I guess you just mean any host operating system command? You can do it through external procedures as well. Check out note 68061.1 on Metalink on how to do it for Windows NT.
