    Do anyone know where to find a document that says itīs ok to install oracle 8.1.7 on solaris 8? The installation guide on metalink doesnīt mention anything about solaris 8.

    I don't know, but I have similar problem with isntallation of Oracle 8.1.6 on SunSolaris 7 for Intel. Can we install Oracle 8.1.6 for Intel on Sunsolaris Intel version 7.
