how to use proxy server like wingate to connect a internet oracled atabase

i user sqlplus in intranet,and the server using wingate.
the oracle database is in the internet.
how to config the wingate and my computer to connect to oralce database in the internet

I do not know how it works,

just don't forget to tell wingate to also transfer the TCP/IP traffic coming from port 1521 ( or you other port, look in the listener.ora on the server where the db resides )
