I have manged to create a new database and new services on NT box, however my database only has SYSTEM tablespace. i ran the following script for the new db to pick up copies of my old datafiles:

CREATE CONTROLFILE REUSE DATABASE "PMLV" NORESETLOGS ARCHIVELOG
    MAXLOGFILES 32
    MAXLOGMEMBERS 2
    MAXDATAFILES 32
    MAXINSTANCES 16
    MAXLOGHISTORY 1600
    LOGFILE
    GROUP 1 'F:\ORANT\DATABASE\LOG1PMLV.ORA' SIZE 200K,
    GROUP 2 'F:\ORANT\DATABASE\LOG2PMLV.ORA' SIZE 200K,
    GROUP 3 'F:\ORANT\DATABASE\LOG3PMLV.ORA' SIZE 200K,
    GROUP 4 'F:\ORANT\DATABASE\LOG4PMLV.ORA' SIZE 200K,
    GROUP 5 'F:\ORANT\DATABASE\LOG5PMLV.ORA' SIZE 500K,
    GROUP 6 'F:\ORANT\DATABASE\LOG6PMLV.ORA' SIZE 500K
    DATAFILE
    'F:\ORADATA\PMLV\SYSTEM01.ORA',
    'F:\ORADATA\PMLV\DATA01.ORA',
    'F:\ORADATA\PMLV\INDEXES01.ORA',
    'F:\ORADATA\PMLV\ROLLBACK01.ORA',
    'F:\ORADATA\PMLV\TEMP01.ORA',
    'F:\ORADATA\PMLV\DATA02.ORA',
    'F:\ORADATA\PMLV\DATA03.ORA',
    'F:\ORADATA\PMLV\DATA04.ORA'
    ;

I ran the script after doing STARTUP MOUNT BUT GET THE ERROR: ORA-01503 : CREATE CONTROLFILE FAILED ORA-01100 : DATABASE ALREADY MOUNTED.

HOW DO I RUN THIS SCRIPT???

You have already mounted the controlfiles by issuing startup mount

You must be in nomount mode: startup nomount
