    Hi Friends,
I'm using Oracle 9i OEM on my one server (Windows-2000) with Oracle 9i database. On my other server there is Oracle 8i on Sun Sparc Solaris. I'm trying to Reorganize a tablespace of 8i database using this 9i OEM. But I'm getting this error.

"VDKTREW-1001 : The reorg Wizard can not be launched because the target database was manually configured..."

Before that I created Oracle Management Server on the server where there is Oracle 9i database. While "Discover Node" I could not find Oracle8i server so I configured manually.
    Any solution for this problem...
    Thanks in advance
    Sandy

Is the agent running on 8i?

Try these commands to do what you want:

    > lsnrctl dbsnmp_status
    > lsnrctl dbsnmp_stop
    > lsnrctl dbsnmp_start

After adding a new database to a server, you need to stop and restart the agent.

    Good luck.
