    Folks,

Where can I download a copy of Linux (Intel) from and some documentation to get started with?

And what about device drivers like you network, graphic cards etc.. Are they available freely?

    Thanks,

    Nizar

    Hi

there are lot of sites where you can download linux from like
redhat.com,suse.com etc.............or you could order them from these vendors directly...........................if you are planning to install oracle then go for suse............as it has got a lot of pre-configured stuff for oracle.you could also check out books who give away linux cd-roms............

sites to check out for linux are

    http://www.linuxhq.com for device drivers
    http://www.drivershq.com for device drivers

yeah for most commonly available models drivers are available without any charge............

good things in life come for free in linux world buddy ;-)

    regards
