    Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the minimum recommended hardware configuration will be for Oracle 9i Enterprise Edition on an Intel machine for NT/2000, Linux and Solaris?

    TIA

    Hrishy,

    Thanks for that info.

    Pando,

Maybe you should read the question before you give unhelpful answers. I asked what the hardware configuration '....will be...'. Or do you think that Oracle are releasing it next month with no idea what hardware configuration is required???

Oracle9i Application Server is not Oracle9i Database, the requirements can be given by a Oracle9i Beta Tester, anyway Beta is only for Solaris and HP, not Linux, nor Windows.

Are you sure?? I was under the impression that 9i would only be unleashed in the June 14 2001 Berlin conference.

If it was available, what is the place/URL you got it from.

    Curious...

Oracle 9i Database Server is still in Beta-test fase, and is only available on Solaris.
You cannot get it from Oracle unless you're a Beta-Test-site.
