    Hi,

    Here I am using Sun Solaris (OS ver 2.8) and Oracle 8i(8.1.6).

    Here I am setting the kernal parameters but I am getting the warnng message like 'INTERNAL PROCESS TABLE IS FULL'

    If anybody know about kernal setting please tell me.

    0I have Sun OS server with 640 m of physical mem. My SGA is 130m. I have se the SHmmax parameter to 1g and system is runnign fine. The moment I se the Shmmax to 640m and reboot the Oracle system crashes.
    There Nothing You cannot Do, The problem is HOW.
