    I installed oem
    It is asking me for a management server to connect to
    What is this ? I was hoping to bring up the oem console

    Hi

    Oracle Enterprise manager is used to manage and maintain a no of Oracle databases across the whole enterprise on different platforms that is the real added advantage of using the OEM.You need to connect to a management server which is going to hold the repository Information of all these databases.If you want to connect to a standalone database you better use Oracle DBA Studio which can connect to a management server or to a standalone Server
