I am working on a Lapptop in which Oracle was installed and working properly then installed wireless internet connection and have not been able to start Oracle since. I have uninstalled and reinstalled still no luck , I must keep the wireless in and need to figure out a way to get my instance started. Laptop is running Win2000 and the service is in a constant state of starting. I am unable to stop or start the service. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated .

    Thanks

Could you check alert_log file for the instances that you are trying to start and post the ORA-# from it. IT could be that you would have run out of the hardware resources like memory and etc. For every thing, please post your alert_SID.log file information.
