I recommend CBT (computer based training). There are pretty good courses at http://www.smartforce.com.

If you have to pay for each developer course, it could be expensive. May be your employer can buy you a subscription.

As always, you should base your knowledge on multiple sources - Oracle manuals, text books, CBT.
