The OEM is the basic, as it is on Unix. It is sad, that Oracle had not yet released a pack like tuning for Unix env.

    Hi,

I see that Oracle does not offer downloads for 8.1.7 from solaris Intel and that you have to order it.

How do I go about ordering this because I did not find any information on their web site.

    Thanks

Create a tar under their metalink requesting for the product. If you have a product upgrade option under the license agreement, you would get the product shipped in 1 to 2 weeks time.

    Hi Everybody

If anybody wants Oracle 8.1.7 for Solaris on Intel. You can goto this link

    http://store.oracle.com/cec/cstage?e...walkin1.en.htm

and in Oracle database Enterprise Edition select trial license in Licensing Unit drop down box.

This edition of the software will cost you $ 39.99 per CD Pack

    Thanks
