Thread: 8.1. client installation

    Hi,

    Does anyone know whether the Server Manager utility is installed with an 8.1. client installation (on Solaris) ? Sqlplus seems to work fine, but I get the 'message 4505 ..' problem with svrmgrl. (ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID and PATH are set).

    The client CD does not contain the server manager utility. It is only available on the server CD.

    As far as I know, the svrmgrl does not come with Client installation.
