Just check the space in your archive log destination.
Make sure that it is not full.

Any ideas???
ORA-19502: write error on file "", blockno (blocksize=)
Can someone Please explain what this means and why did this happen.
Is it the blocks on archive file or the operating system file???
How do I solve this problem rather than changing the destination after the error occurs or restarting the server (as we did).
Please advice.........
Thanks

19502, 00000, "write error on file \"%s\", blockno %s (blocksize=%s)"
// *Cause: write error on output file
// *Action: check the file
Check to make sure that your disk is not at problem. And I'm curious to know, have to fixed the problem by bouncing the server?

Thanx

Life is a journey, not a destination!

How do I check to make sure if the Disk is the problem in this situation.
Thanks.

You have to use diskchk(NT) like utility. Contact your server admin to use some tool to check the disk condition.
