Hi all DBA's,
There was a database which crashed and I want to recover it.The database was on 7.3.2 on IRIX Unix and was running in noarchivelog mode.
There was a disk crash and some of the datafiles in rollback tablespace were lost.At the time of database crash active transactions were using the rollback segments.
I could recover some tables which were not using the rollback segments but I want to recover all the tables. The database is running now after dropping the datafiles but recovering all the tables is giving a problem as the rollback segment datafiles are removed in order to open the database and while taking the export Oracle is giving the error that the rollback datafile is missing.
In case of any recommendations and solutions please write to rohitsn@altavista.com

Since the database was in NOARCHIVE mode, you cannot recover all the tables till the point of crash.

The only thing you can do is to restore from the last cold backup and startup the db.
