You are running out of free space in --

    G:\ORCLBERP\ARCHIVE

create some space and Archival process will continue.

if your archive logs are not copied onto tape then NO !!!
But you must delete some other files to make space for Archiving to go on. Another way will be to stop Archiving process temporarily while you figure out what to do with the space problem. This is always the number one thing you should plan when putting a database in Archive log mode.

Don't you have a backup strategy defined. If you If you take a level 0 backup today, then you wouldn't require any archivelog files prior to today (i.e) y-day for your recovery. So you could delete those old ones. So I cannot be specific in answering on what to do, without knowing your backup strategy.

    Thank you all,

I am new to the company. I noticed that I have 142 archived log files y-day. and each one is 20K.
I will look into company's backup plan to see what I can do.

    Thank you to all again
