Hi anyone can give me some idea why the web listner
is always giving problem.....meaning even it is up and running
users could not use their sites and it is timing out....(may be more traffic?.).so,
When I stop that lisnr it says being terminated....
for ever.I can understand it is waiting to complete the request before stop
(if I am not wrong).after Giving some break, when I check status it
says that lsnr is down.while restart it says already up and running.
I have to kill that process and restart. Then it is okay.
Why it is happening like that what is the cause for this ....
    Please update...
    Thanks.

    IS it OAS 4.0.8/4.0.8.1/4.0.8.2

The only way I have been solving the issue is that bouncing them as a whole.

    owsctl stop
    owsctl clean -force
    owsctl start
    owsctl start -nodemgr

There are some issues with its caching machanism, too. I would suggest that you disable it. I have a thread discussing on disabling the caching on OAS, in the archived area.

    Hope this would help you.
