how will I do database sizing/forecasting in Oracle?

Is there any tools , tips, scripts you can share to
me?

scenario 1: test database is existing.. how will you come up to the size for production or live database?

scenario 2: database is not yet existing. how will you come up with the sizing?

Dear, it depends on your db plan, your business strategy and your existing db data growth. U should have something in mind before planning the db and going for a machine according to the data growth size.

If u have something in mind write back on khannabeel@hotmail.com and I will try to give you some of the scripts I use to get an Idea of db growth size.
