Sr. Programmer Analyst Client/Server
Handle technical and functional analysis of information processing & management systems; devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems utilizing emerging technologies considering computer equipment capacity and limitations. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation; maintains full knowledge of all phases of application systems, programming and performance.
Requirements: Programmer Analyst: BA/BS; minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience within administrative computing environment; excellent analytical skills; knowledge of Adabas/Natural, Cobol, JCL, TSO/ISPF are desired; Detailed knowledge of database design concepts and with relational technology, specifically with Oracle a plus. Knowledge of Unix text editor, SQL, PL/SQL and SQL*plus and experience with Oracle and data warehousing a plus. Experience with Work Order Maintenance and Space Management systems a plus. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated planning and organizational skills. Working knowledge of project management software and desktop tools desired, as well as web technology desired.
This position will join the Data Administration group in supporting end user data access, conducting data analysis for use in development of data warehouse and applications.
