Listener Problem

Hi

My office people in a differenet location outside my netwrok are able to ping to my server but the TNSPINg says no listener , But the database is up and running . The error they get is NO LISTENER . Please let me know

1) Is it a DB problem or a N/W Problem
2) If it is DB what can I do to correct this
3) In case N/W what request should I make to my SYS admin

Are you using multiple listeners?
Is the listener process actually started?
Can you connect on your server using sqlnet?

Yah

I am using 2 listeners and the listener is started because My office folks are working on DB and I can also log in .
