Exp error exporting from 9i with 8i exp tool

Recompile (ALTER . . . . . COMPILE) - if that fails debug :) (don't forget to shoot the developer responsible - Mr.H will tell you how to go about it)

P.S. Oracle provide a proc \Rdbms\Admn\utlrp.sql to recompile what is needed.

OK i did it there must be something wrong with the Oracle Client Patch 8.1.7.4.10 so export with 8i exp from 9i database perform this error.

I tried it from a machine were exp tool version 8.1.7.0 is installed an everything works fine :)

Is there anything known about problems with my Client Patchlevel?

Have a look at the doc on the patch (say) 8.1.7.4.13 - it will indicate if there was a subsequent fix - a Metalink search should tell you too.

Try running catexp.sql and export again.
