OEM.....JOB Deleting Goes Forever

I have Oracle8i R8.1.6 on WinNT and OEM2.1. I deleted one of the Scheduled Job to make some changes and then resubmitting it.This JOB DELETING IS GOING FOREVER??When I am trying to resubmit the job it says JOB ALREADY SUBMITEED.

Any one got any idea about this?????

Shutdown your OMS as restart to see whether the job had been deleted or not. BTW, why not upgrade to OEM 2.2 which had fixed a number of problems on OEM 2.1, one among them is the job creation and deletion.

I tried that option.Couldn't fix the problem.Any more ideas!!!
