hi again.
as i know internal is like an alias for the sys user.
i have already change the sys passwd, thereafter you log on as internal without password on oracle Server manager...
i think there is a file which we have to update it..!?
Regards
you dont need to update any file
hi again..
sys 's password has changed before, but i still loging internal without passwd...
do u think it is an operating system Privilege?
thanks
:D if u use oracle id or u belong to dba group you are not asked
a password in internal
Yes it is the Oracle User (also dba Privilege)
this means any others user with dba privilege and in oracle group could access the database...
is there any method to disable this command "connect internal" which i think it is an alias for sys? in this way, u will be able forcing the user logging with a passwd.
thanks for your cooperation.
regards
lock the OS accounts. dont let anyone log in with the dba group
The point of os authentication is that you can do this. if you dont want people doing it - dont let them
Just keep the root and oracle and sys password to yourself so nobody
can use it. But i heard the theres a program that can crack a password
