Oracle DBA – Senior
90-110K Base with Bonus - Fulltime Position
Major North Jersey Retail Company is looking for a Sr. Oracle DBA with a strong UNIX background. Must have exp. in HP UNIX. Needs hand on experience plus knowledge in the following: 8+ years of data processing; 6+ years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle 8.x, 9.x and 10.x Database Administration; 2+ years of hands-on technical experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005 Database Administration; 2 years managing technical projects, preferably in a cross-functional setting; 2 years of operational and resource management experience; and experience in applications development environments. Experience in managing backup systems is a plus. Needs someone who has come up through application development. Will be dealing with system design and maintenance of database system components. This candidate will be a part of the Systems Administration team supporting the existing technologies and design and rollout new database technologies on Windows, HP UX and HP Tru64 UNIX platforms. Experience with Sap is a plus.
