Can somebody help with this....Our developers are hitting this message today. It's as follows:
ORA-24327 need explicit attach before authenticating a user. Cause: A server context must be initialized before creating a session.
Action: Create and initialize a server handle.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Check your tnsnames file. Maybe you don't have the server name correct.
Thanks for the response....Better than having none...
Anyway, I checked the TNSNAMES.ORA. It is good. Able to make connections through Sqlplus, but not through the application our developers are developing here...
Any other recommendations/suggestions..
What application are they using?
