Removing Archive logs in Standby
Hi,
We have an Oracle data guard implemented. In the server where standby db is hosted, Archive logs is filling up the disk space.
Im wondering whether I can delete the old archive logs (like archive logs older than 30 days or so)
Is there any oracle views which help in assessing which archive logs can be safely removed from standby server.
I appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
VG

Thanks Jeff for the reply..
Is there any V$ view in the standby db side, to verify that all the old archive logs are applied and safe to delete.
Thanks,
VG

use rman to manage the logs on the standby and the sysdate-X magic
